Well hello there.
Don't feel bad, when camping in Tennessee another camper came by to chat and asked the same question. He spent a little over $100 to add a hose holder to his rig since it wouldn't fit in his bumper. I walked over, put the hose in the bumper without any issue and he was flabbergasted. I did that 6 more times before the other campers left me alone.

I have the new style with the orange lock rings. Both the 15ft and 10ft hoses fit in the bumper without a problem. The only thing that won't fit is the sewer adapter. My neighbor claimed his hose wouldn't fit, either. I showed him how its done. He owes me a beer.

Yep. That bad boy gets rinsed, spritzed with clorox and zipped up in its own little ziplock freezer bag and chucked in with the sewer kit.

Sewer hose storage?

Install a portable macerator which uses a garden hose….Less storage space needed and works perfectly.

Don't get it stuck! I have a zip tie looped on the cap so I can hook it and pull it out easier.

Seeer hose storage

I use the orange connector version, where the round area buts up against the square bumper use a course file and level the round areas to fit. It doesn’t effect the hose function at all.

Exactly what I did several years ago except mounted the 5" vinyl fence post under the camper on my unit.

Sewer Hose Storage

Being a fairly new RV-er, I do have one storage sleeve under the L/R Bumper of my FR 5th Wheel, however I usually store the other hoses, Y-Connector, Sewer Connector, etc., inside a large plastic storage box. I rinse the hoses after disconnecting them and have caps for each end. Maybe I'm doing it wrong but it seems to work for me!

Problem is that hybrids don't have the storage space, that a 5th wheel has.

That certainly won't fit in the bumper.....I have one but quit taking it with us so it sits at home.

I have one, too, for use with transporting my portable tank to a distant dump station in the bed of my truck. (Thanks, TitanMike.) But they're not ideal, especially for someone new to camping. They cost money, are far more complicated than a 4" sewer hose, and are prone to breakage. For most people, they're just not necessary.

Like many others here, I mounted my sewage hose storage on the rear pumper. Like Hangdiver, I used a length of plastic fence post. I left the ends of the fence post open and just drilled a couple holes at each end and ran a piece of coat hanger through each end to retain the sewer hose. I like the idea of as much fresh air flowing through the hose as possible. On my Leprechaun 31 FSS, the rear bumper can only accommodate is 4 inches square which is too small for the sewer hose.

We, like others, have the expandable Valterra hose carrier. I mounted it under the back bumper with extra long, heavy duty, UV resistant black cable ties. It has been perfect for over 4 years. When the end covers broke off their little hinges, I just rigged a system where I use mini bungees, hooked to small screws I drilled in the tube.
The regular 15-ft hose stores there, one 5’ extension stores in the curbside end of the same tube, and another extra length of hose stores in the bumper. Since this last one is rarely ever used, no rust buildup in the bumper, but we have it as a backup, cuz one of these days, if that main hose springs a leak….

The adapter/donut/funnel shaped device gets sprayed down with Clorox spray, put into its own zip bag, and stored in the pass-thru cubby after each use.

Using a garden hose to drain your black and gray tanks at the dump station will quickly earn you the title of "pariah of the dump station", as folks behind you sit there and wait.

I agree you should have both. 4" for dump station and you can use garden hose setup at campsite. I use this at camp site works great and small foot print. Self cleaning

https://www.amazon.com/Valterra-SS01...%2C164&sr=8-22 Still have 4" in bumper for dump station.

I store a 15' hose and related items in this. I don't need to compress the hose to make it fit, just stuff it in. Mine came without a foam gasket so I added one from weather stripping. Since it's sealed it can be stowed in our ample basement though it's often in the truck bed. Very sturdy and the lid securely locks in place.

I did the 5x5 Vinyl Fence post mod and mounted it on the rear to the frame using Ubolts and painted to match the trailer
