Slatewood: What is it? Who makes it?

We own a Rockwood Roo 23IKSS with "Slatewood" cabinetry. I was looking online and I see hundreds of websites advertising Forest River trailers with Slatewood. I went looking for the manufacturer or a description of exactly what Slatewood was and came up empty.



Is this just a Forest River marketing term?

Could be a type of wood, but my guess would be that it's the color of the cabinets.

It's the standard 2021 cabinet color. Newport Ash was an option -- not made from an exotic ash wood.

Colors vary from year to year. and model to model.
