Slide topper

Have a 23ikss and considering getting a slide topper for the sofa dinette slide, as the kitchen slide is under the awning that one really isn't needed. Has any done this?

We made the mistake of not having one installed, on our 23SS, when we negotiated the price. Would've been much cheaper than what we paid a year later.

Yeah definitely get that, did you have a dealer install? Have seen them at places like etrailer, doesn't look that difficult to install. But then again nothing ever does.

Don't get a slide topper. You'll be missing all the, rain leaves, and bird poop you normally bring into the trailer when the slide closes.

Does anyone by chance remember what size they got. Assuming the SS is approximately the same size on most Roos. This is more for pricing reference, will be able to get actual numbers when I pull the camper out of storage in a couple weeks.

Had it installed at CW. It still worked fine after 10 years when we sold it.

We ordered one from the factory on our 2020 23IKSS. It covers the top of the slider from edge to edge (on the outside slider frame) and does a terrific job of preventing all the spring detritus falling from our birches from drying inside.

Our dealer could have added one to a 23IKSS they had on the lot, but I think it was about $500 for the add-on. However, I believe you get a choice of color. I would have preferred a lighter color than the brown that came from the factory.

What ever you pay, it is a terrific addition!
