Solid...solid as a rock
Do not order 1 x-chock unless you just want an appetizer. My stability improved maybe 10% with one. After a month I decided to add a second and wow...a whole new roo vader. The thunder from down under has lost its shake, rattle and roll and I be stoked.
People will tell you one will work. Trust your local Sith Lord...double em.

They are great and make a big difference with front to back movement. I liked it so much I bought a third for the spare.

X Chocks were one of the first things I bought - had them in a box waiting on the Roo to arrive.
They make a tremendous difference with the movement, no doubt about it.

So does the one for the spare help with the side to side stability?

Nearly all, on the RV forums I belong to, would only recommend two tandem wheel chocks, for eliminating movement. Not just one.

I love my x-chocks, too. I also learned last weekend to re-snug the stabilizer jacks after extending the slide. Helped a lot with the side to side movement.

Just bought a set and haven't had the opportunity to try them yet. It's good to hear all the positive comments about them. Hope to be able to test them soon

Our Windjammer used to really rock when someone is walking around. I also ended up getting a pair of x-chocks and these cheap Camco Stack Jacks:
Camco Stack Jacks - Walmart.com
One pair goes between rear stabilizers and rear tires and the other pair goes four feet forward of front tires. I just snug them up to the frame. I have to stack up (4) 2" x 8" x 8" boards for these jacks to reach the frame. Rocking has really been drastically reduced, but not fully eliminated.

So gas hog did you notice a pretty big improvement with the stands? I was going to get those but after adding the second chock I may not feel the need.

The Camco Stack Jacks made the biggest improvement over everything that I've done. These are very cheap nothing like car jack stands. I just snugged them up against the frame.

Gashog. How much outside storage space do these require? I like the idea of these.

I mentioned this before, but these are not heavy duty. Cheap thin cast aluminium with a detachable steel screw/nut that just sit in a octagon shaped hole on top of the stand. With this said they work great for stabilizing and $30.00 for a set of four at Walmart. I had to try them. Funny thing, the in store price was more. I showed the checkout gal my phone with the internet price and asked if she could match it. I ended up saying I'll go outside buy off the internet and walk back in and pick them up. They matched the Internet price.

Yeah I hear ya...not looking for a miracle, just seems like some cheap additional stabilization.
Thanks!
