I good friend of mine swears by this thing and says it is a 'must have' for my Roo. Anyone use these and if so, what are your thoughts?

I recommend having aTPMS. The TST system is very good. Save me from damage to our trailer last month when a tire was going down. I was able to exit the interstate and find a safe place to change the tire before it completely came apart.
