Toilet leak

We have a 2007 Rockwood roo 21ss and notice a small amount over water near the front base of the toilet. Does this mean the flush seal is going bad or is there another seal at the floor as well that could be going bad. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Reach behind the toilet and feel the line into the valve in the back of the toilet. Sometimes those valves crack and leak. The water you see may be traveling from the rear of the toilet. Check the easy stuff first.

Do you know what model toilet you have?
There have been lots of problems with the middle seal on the Dometic 300 model.

Was the Dometic 300 even around in 2006?

So my so went out there today turned the water back on flushed a few times and nothing no water on the floor or anywhere. I asked what make and model and he couldn’t find the information on it. I looked in the book and nothing there either. I am at a loss.

We had a Thetford that would leak around where the foot valve went into the toilet body. That was on a 2011 Flagstaff.

This toilet doesn’t have a foot valve the handle for flushing is along the back of the seat right hand side . I’m just baffled.

We had the same toilet and would occasionally have water on the floor. It was leaking somewhere around the flush valve, never did find exactly where it was coming from. Stopped leaking one day and eventually sold the trailer.

when flushing is the water shooting over the rim and running down the outside to the floor .I have seen that happen if the water tub gets out of alignment.

If your toilet is leaking when someone is setting on it, it might be the seals between the top and bottom of the toilet. If you have the two part toilet and the seals go bad you might notice the water in the toilet slowly drains away over time. I am not sure which toilet you have but there should be a tag on the back side that tells you which toilet you have. If the seals, {2 of them} are bad they are easy to replace and can be bought from Amazon once you know which toilet you have.
Job is messy, so wear gloves, but only takes about 15 min.s to a half hour to do.
Google search has a lot of information about rv toilets.

Thank you for sharing this manual. We have ordered a water module assembly from amazon I really believe this could be the problem as it only leaks when we flush and it’s clean water not urine smelling. Hope this is easy to replace

I want to thank everyone that replied and gave us great tips. We were able to install a new flushing mechanism and a new floor flange and all leaks have stopped. Now on to tackling the bed door this winter. This should be fun.
