sounds like you're talking about delam on the front bunk door.
usually happens by water pooling around the hinge area and wicking into the sandwich construction of the bunk door material.
or poor sealing along the bunk door frame.
if it's delam, then there was a leak or the previous owner trapped canvas in the seals when closing up, causing water to get in.
bottom line: get the dealer to put a new bunk door in.
