Water Mystery

DW and I were closing up our 21SS Roo yesterday morning to return home. It had not rained during our camping trip in Chattanooga over the weekend. I had shut off and disconnected the water line into the camper, emptied and flushed out the black and gray water tanks, when we discovered water on the floor of the camper that was soaking into the carpeting of the slideout. Could not see where water appeared to have overflowed any sink, shower or toilet, but the inside of the bathroom sink cabinet was wet. Before trying to duplicate the incident to figure out where the water came from, thought I would check to see if anyone has had the same thing happen to them.

Thanks for any help you can give!

I’ll bet a tuna sandwich your black tank flush vacuum breaker/anti-reversing check valve (how’s that for using all the names I remember?) is leaking. Many are up under the bathroom sink cabinet.

I'm not sure I want to see mention of a tuna sandwich and black tank flush in the same sentence, Mr. Dan, but thanks for the lead. After more research I have a feeling you nailed it! One tuna sandwich coming right up...after I wash my hands, of course!

Yep.. a sure sign if noticing AFTER flushing the black tank.
You'll be looking for something like this... Enjoy the tuna!

You’re welcome... but please don’t put on your rubber gloves before making my sandwich!

21SS Roo's don't have black tank flushes. I'll take a sandwich, but I hate tuna. Maybe a nice meatball sub?

According to this 2/12/15 brochure, they do (page 15). Apparently became standard sometime after 2012, as my Roo 19 didn't have it.

Tim, your unit not having a black tank flush doesn't mean you won the bet with the OP and his unit... but thanks for trying to play the game.

My 2019 21SS has one. It's on the opposite side of the trailer which does make it more of a pain to use when at a dump station.

I've seen several makes and models of TT's that have that same configuration. I just stand there and scratch my head and wonder....WHY ? and WHO ? came up with that.

Mine is on the street side, but goes into the tank right above the drain. So it's more of a "fill" than a "flush." What's up with that?
