I am trying to make a changing area for my kids. I want to screw the retractable clothesline to the wall next to the fridge then string it to the left of the bathroom door. I tried the 3m Velcro stripes but I dont think that will hold. The wall behind the net seems more solid but again, we don't know what's behind it and do not wNt to mess anything up. Any ideas?

Some of the wall seam paper thin. I have used a wood block on the inside to add stability...

Should be able to drill a couple holes and use toggle bolts to hold it if you can't get access behind that panel.

Is there any way you could use a curtain rod in place of the clothesline with a curtain for the kids to change behind?

I used the 3m clear hooks (very small) - stuck four on the ceiling - use a shower curtain when needed. Works quite well.
