First trip out we realized the value of a cheap cordless drill and a 3/4 socket to raise/lower the stabilizers. The issue was there is no power in any storage compartments so we plugged in the trailer and ran the cord thru the door...fast fwd to today and I added the outlet in the storage area, When I pulled the false wall down in the corner I found they had left a long piece of electrical line and I used that to tie in a new outlet. Probably the easiest mod I will ever do.

For cutting the diamond plate I used a shears for the long sections, oscillating tool for the outlet and a round hole saw for the vent.

For the USB I got them from Amazon

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0741CHQ49...d_i=B0741CHQ49

Switched out the cigarette lighter for this: https://www.amazon.com/Cllena-Charge...01HPSY596?th=1

I tied into the USB charger right next to the same panel. I plan on putting 2 more single round USB chargers in the storage compartments in the back bed areas. Cant have enough!

Many people seem to like hybrids. Plenty of room for the weight. I like being able to open up the canvas (vinyl) around the beds and look out and feel the breeze. We had a serious lack of storage in a smaller hybrid.

The other feature I will miss, is it was like a transformer. I slept it in turtled when solo in cold weather, some times one end out , sometimes both ends. I had the regular large table and used a much smaller one to make it easy to move around the dinette. Very adaptable.

Gave her a bath and received the Air Lift air bags for the truck, tomorrow they will go on. Also working out a way to get more water out of the fresh water tank. the way the fill, vent, and suction line are set up it won't completely fill and the pump can't get the last bit of water out.....

I extended my storage in the rear compartment. When you open the door they put a stop about 9" or so in because there is wiring and a hose coming through the floor. I used a piece of OSB and some 2x2 spacers to extend this about 24" for extra storage. I reused the vertical piece they had and screwed it into the visible stud. It was difficult to get into but it turned out well. I have seen people cut in and install a door on the passenger side but I cant see cutting a hole in fiberglass in a 1 year old trailer. It would be awesome to have one just to put fishing poles in and longer stuff through.

Wisconsin-1 our 21SS has the same thing only it's almost 4'. I pulled out the fake wall and use it to store roasting sticks axe and spare paper goods.

Also removed the soap and toothbrush/cup holders and installed a small shelf.

I also opened up the rear storage on our 233. I place fishing poles in there and the ground mat for under the awning. There is a mod on here where somebody cut and put a larger door in the rear and then took the current rear door, turned it 90 degrees and installed it on the end. This was a great mod. I have no problems cutting holes to do this on our fairly new trailer, I just have to take the time. So many mods, so little time.

Nice mod! My inside handle on screen door (2014 Roo 19) cracked. Any idea where to get a replacement. Etailer doesn't have it. I could just reach in and open it, but I want it back to the way it was.

Thanks

Sink Shelf

Keeping with the glass shelf theme from the bathroom...added a 30" x 6" glass shelf over the kitchen sink for spices, soap, and what evers.

I also switched out the switches on the master panel to lighted ones for the bottom switch's, because while laying in bed I can see what I have on and not. They were from Ebay because I couldn't find any cheap enough anywhere else. I also tried to add a Camco Self-Stor Step to the entrance step to take some of the bounce away. It works great until I tried to store the steps there is no room between the steps and the trim. I am thinking of using a pin or something and removing it each time.

I also have the step stabilizers on my 233S and when folded in they do allow the steps to fold up with very minimal rubbing. I can live with that..

* In rear storage I cut that safety panel in half so I can get easy access to the water pump, filter, and shutoff valves in that area.

* Screwed an over the door towel holder into the bathroom door. It's very secure and don't have to worry about it moving.

* Bought a 4x2 table that has 2 heights. This can be used as a nice inside table right in front of the trifold sofa or near the sink for food prep. I can also take it outside if needed. Just a nice thing to have inside to put drinks and food on.

* Going to hang fishing pole holders in the front pass through storage area.

* Currently looking for ways to get the most out of the outside kitchen area

kennibc - May I ask if you have a manufacturer or picture of the table you purchased. I've been looking for something similar.

Not so much a MOD as much as a new attachment but I have always tried to fly my US Flag when camping, each trailer in the past had its own mount.

So to keep the tradition going I "invested" ($$$) in a 12' pole kit from Flag Pole Buddy and replaced the printed 3x5 flag they send with the kit and replaced it with a nylon sewn 4x6 flag. I have a dusk to dawn pole mounted solar LED light I plan to try out this weekend. The light is an up light as I don't want to flood my site or others with unnecessary light.

Left it mounted in the driveway for a day and had no issues, even with a fair breeze.

I had to replace the cabinet handles on the cupboard under my bunk. The 2019 Roo comes with very stylish brushed silver cabinet handles. Unfortunately, I'm in a knee brace. The first time I slid down from my bunk, it caught on the handle. Two hours later, I sent my cranky 6 year old grandson to lay down and read for 6 minutes. When I woke him 45 minutes later, his shorts caught on the handle as he slid down from the bunk. My husband thought it was funny both times one of us was hung up. Looking back, yeah, it was.

Decided to not take a chance on our upcoming long trip and invested in a set of Goodyear Endurance tires. Pulled the castle rocks off last night and hope to get the new tires installed and balanced on the rims today or tomorrow then back on before a weekend outing with friends....wife was a little anxious when she came home and saw no tires on the trailer..."We are camping this weekend..right?" "Absolutely!"

On a side note, the trailer came with nitrogen filled tires, I understand the principle of less variance in tire pressure but is it that important? Having the tires done at Discount Tire and I forgot to verify first if they can fill with nitrogen.

Tire Test...

Took a good long road trip (8 hours each way) in 98* weather. Truck and trailer did just fine and the new tires seem more stable than the old OEM tires that the TT came with.

Checked air pressure and temps (by hand) at each stop and am very pleased with the tires.

I was also a little concerned with the two glass shelf mods I did, wasn't sure if all the vibration would loosen them but they held just fine.
