When do they come out?

When do you guys pull the hybrids out of storage and get the season started?

We're just waiting till temps are consistently above freezing at home (not the destination), so - minus a hurdle or two - I think we're going to be open for business in a couple of weeks (late March).

Yeah, it has to sleep here, the dear wife and I are both still working locally, so it sleeps when it's snow and freeze season.

Soon tho:

Can't wait

We're in the hills of western MA and store the TT inside at the local county fairgrounds. It goes in the first week in Nov and gets pulled out the first week in Apr. Batteries stay in our garage.

The building and grounds are locked-up tight during its storage time; I can't even visit it without being escorted by a very large security person. But the best part of the environment is the presence of a herd of adorable barn cats. In three years, not even a trace of rodent activity in the TT.

Crap...just jinxed myself!

Halloween to Easter for NE Ohio storage. Here in Virginia we gave up and store indoors all year round. Cost is just slightly higher than winter indoor storage and summer yard storage and the camper's only in the weather when we're camping (or maintenance). Coming out for wheel bearings and brakes and some Spring maintenance next week -- and back in. Check your local costs.

We lived in California when we owned our Roo 23SS. There was no such thing as pulling it out of storage because it was parked in our driveway. And no such thing as waiting for the "season" to start since we camped year-round. Our season was from January to December.
I always felt sorry for those in regions where they only had a 3 month camping season.

I live in PA. We keep our at our home which we are very fortunate for! I winterize mine in late November and late march bring it back out. Can’t wait to get back out there

We often take the grandkids somewhere for spring break (coming up next week). We go south where it is a bit warmer. Sometimes we get some rainy weather and always windy weather, but no freezing.

Living in Southern MD we have no choice but outside storage as there are no indoor facilities in this parts and have to deal with HOA restrictions. So we not start movement until late April if weather breaks early. So in storage by mid/late October and out hopefully by late April/early May.

Talking

Picked mine up in May and last trip was second week in November then winterized and sitting in outdoor storage. Taking her out second week of April for first trip this year.

Supposed to get our last snow tomorrow and freezing temps during the weekend...about an inch but that's a storm in MD.

This was one of their previous storms this season.

April for me

Our TT went to storage beginning of November and will be getting it out the first week of April. My goal is to get it ready, install the bed lifting pistons, and build storage drawers for under the dining seating. I may upgrade the outdoor kitchen as well. then take it camping at the end of the month.

Out of storage this weekend, and the first (full) trip of the new year the weekend following! So excite!
