Which Water Filter? Roo 233S

Can anyone tell me the part number or info on the water filter cartridge needed for a Roo 233S? It is not on the housing.

Thanks!

Mine takes the KW1 filter mfg. by WaterPur. Around $28 at a local Roo dealer. That's the only one (I believe) that will fit. Mine is actually listed in my FR owners' manual.

When I had a 2008 Shamrock 183 that had a different housing that took much cheaper filters. Can't remember the housing or filter #.

Just wait until it starts to leak, as most of them do.

I just use the Camco one that attaches to the hose.

Haven't they replaced the FR1 housing that has the reputation for leaking?

Talking Simply

Go with the Camco in line filter and change it out 3 times for what you would spend on a cartridge (if you can find them). I got rid of mine three years ago with no ill effects. Makes winterizing a whole lot easier

After experiencing a minor flood in the bathroom of our 2016 2304KS because the filter housing was not quite tight enough, I ripped the darn thing out and reconnected the water line direct. I now use the standard Camco filter connected outside the trailer. Much cheaper than the propriety factory filter. And much easier to winterize

I have never had the FR filter but I agree I have read nothing but issues from the stock filter. If you really want to keep the inside filter (we added them onto two campers before just using the campco ones) you can get a "whole house filter" from the local lowes or depot. It uses a standard filter you can get anywhere.

I believe that the KW1 was made specifically for FR.
