225/75R15 LT tires

I am looking to replace my STs with LT just for my piece mind. I have searched the forum and have read the many different opinions on ST vs LT tires. Just wondering what others out there are using For LT tires in the 225/75R15 size. Don't plan on increasing rim size. TT is a Lacrosse 318BHS. Runs about 8k dry.
Thanks in advance.
Colin

Colin, you will probably not find a LT tire that is above a six ply rated tire in that sizing. Most of the people changing from ST to LT are utilizing 16" inch rim diameter tires.

X?? On what WM says. I see a lot of chatter about LT and 15” tires. Sailun this and xxx brand that, I played a good bit on the internet and don’t get close to ST rated tires ratings. They have Goodyear USA tires now and they will be my next. Good luck.

Agreed. I haven't been able to find a decent LT tire in my size. I was just curious what was available. I think I'm going to go with the Goodyear Endurance.
Thanks!

jacknife, there may be some confusion here, as Michelin does not make a Special Trailer (ST) tire.

I am unable to find any Saliuns in the 225/75R15. Anybody know of a reputable company that sells them?

The Sailun 14 ply tires that others are talking about are in the 16 inch wheel diameter. That won't be applicable to your situation since you have a 225/75R15...and 15 inch rims.
