That's what I'd be pulling it with. I have a 2015 Silverado crew cab with trailer brake installed. It has the 5.3L. I'm in NJ.

My guy got to talking to much about life and went around a bunch of stuff, had to get him back on track. He ask me if I wanted to video the walk through for my reference at a Iater time. I had a Great dealer the sale part was easy and the service department seems to be really well they bent over backward for me on the stuff I ask them to fix and did a good clean job.

Yep mine is the 5.3. I pulled it this weekend for about two hours and averaged 10.2 mpg.

Has anyone else noticed the same problem?? or rather do your rigs have some kind of support??
I notice the same thing on my Wildwood. The right fender has a brace on it but the left does not. I'll probably just make one out of 1/2 X 1/8 aluminum of similar.

if it didn't come with a ladder and you are still on warranty, if you add the ladder yourself - you lose your warranty as we were told. so ask ask ask dealership to be sure

I'm sure you'll be way happier and at ease while towing then before.

I also got rid of my Tundra and picked up a unicorn 2000 Chev 2500 gasser with 60,000 miles on it. We will see how it tows as it's down on Horsepower from the Tundra, but it's paid for and that is what I liked most.

Didn't really want to let the tundra go but going from 7-8 mpg to 13-14 mpg for $20 more a month, yeah easy choice.

I had the factory put my ladder on. But the dealer said they could do it if the trailer was set up for it (blocking).

command has a hook that goes into the tooth style hanger on a picture and it sticks great - use for small to med. items, then you can use gorilla hooks for larger items, one tiny hole in the wall holds up to 100 pounds.

Thanks, talked to my dealer they recommend not installing one because they said it is hard to verify if the bracing was installed.

2 5/16th ball is what you are looking for. I would suggest one with a 14,000lb capacity or larger.

The 10,000lbs capacity balls are a little to close to the max weight of the trailer for my liking.

I have the 14,000lbs equalizer ball.

Hope that helps

Speaking of ladders, I am just waiting for the day my big butt pulls the ladder out of the wall. Seems rickety for how much I weigh.
