After Market Black Water Flush Systems

It is taking too long and too much water to get the black water tank clean on my Surveyor (SV230). I use a reverse flush attachment and hose attached spray cleaner. Does anyone have experience or advice on adding an after market tank flush system?

How clean are you trying to get it? If you're going for clear you're not going to get it. Just flush it until the sensors read empty and you don't see any "floaties", then call it good.

Once empty add a gallon of bleach to eat away the stickies, then add some "soft water" to glaze the sides, dump, and walla!

Soft water is water that has attached sodium ions.....basically you can add a water softener to you house, or buy a bottle of water softener and pour it in the tank and fill with water.

By far, the most popular black tank mod from my other favorite RV forum is the QUICKIE FLUSH.

There are many threads about it if you want specific info here; www.outbackers.com
There's even pictures and directions.

I never did the mod myself...and now I don't need too. I have no black tank.
