Couch into bed question memory foam ?

Thanks for your suggestions. We have a 2013 MicroLite 21FBRS and the couch makes into a bed. Has anyone added a triangle shaped piece of foam topped with memory form to make the bed more uniform/comfortable?

Any suggestions for making this couch more comfortable for an 80 yr old female to sleep on?

Walmart sells some foam toppers from 1" to 4". The 4" is "da bomb". Sells for just over $100...worth every penny.
