We have purchased a 2009 Flagstaff 829BHSS and the dealer is offering an exterior and interior Protection package.(protects against fading and scotch gaurds the carpet)
Has anyone else added this protection to there TT and are they worth it?
They aren't cheap and we are wondering if it pays to add it to our new trailer..
Any help would be greatly appreciated..
He is also offering a 7yr extended warranty for about 6% what the trailer is worth?? What is everyone else paying for extended warrenties and how many yrs..
Most of the time those packages only serve to protect the profit of the dealer. You can do the same thing (or more than likely much better) with a little wax and a can of scotchgard. I personally don't buy protection plans because the time or two that I have it was a ripoff.
FR offers a second year extension of the warranty for $150 I believe and that would be worth it. Those "insurance policies" that dealers sell have so many restrictions you should read them carefully before you make a desicion. A lot of the appliances in your RV have a 3 year factory warranty anyway.

I'd like to be protected from our dealers, where do I get this, how does it work? Do a couple of big guys named "Vinny" go and break the dealers legs if they screw you....
