Very dependent on the model 5er. To honest, most 5th wheel's will exceed the payload of most all diesel 3/4 tons (which is why I just upgraded to a 1 ton). If you don't have the truck yet, you would be much better off getting a 1 ton... even a single wheel.
If you currently the truck look at the yellow sticker in your door jam. It will give you the available payload for that truck. For a 2015 Ford F250 Diesel, Crew Cab, Long Bed, 4x4, the availible payload is published to be 1,700 lbs. (wow thats really low) Take that #, subtract the weight of the hitch (200 lbs about) then subtract what your family weighs (payload weight assumes just 1 150lb driver) and the weight of any other equipment hauled in the truck... lets say you ended up with around 1400 lbs left.. Take that number and divide it by 0.25 (pin weights on 5ers range from 20 to 25% of total camper weight)... You come up with 5600lbs... In this example your F250 is over loaded with a 5er that weighs 5,700 lbs... and you won't find much, if anything, that light.
