I don't have a picture, but on my older 86 it has a safety pole the you attach to the ladder for a hand hold to steady your self for when going up and down the ladder, my flag pole fits perfect in the top of it

Fun easy to do project. I use a plastic tube core end for the pole to pivot on.
Stops the pole from digging into the ground and it turns easy.

Would be far more worried about the metal radio or TV antenna sticking up than a PVC pipe.

ask me how I know...

Here's ours. It's a telescoping pole with a hitch receiver adaptor.

Those of you with the Flag Pole buddy on a class A....what length do you recommend for 2 flags? Is the 16' or the 22' foot the one to get? Seems the 22' footer might be too much....but what do I know.

try this for posting a picture from your computer's hard drive to the post ...

Go Advanced.
Click on the Attachments icon above (paper clip) or scroll down to the Manage Attachments button below your message screen
Click "Browse" and find your picture.
Be sure that the photo is appropriately sized. 620 x 620 pixels (or smaller) and no more than 50K. Forums software will automatically reduce the size, but smaller size photos will upload much faster. You may select several photos to upload at the same time by repeating the last step.
Click "Upload"
Click "submit reply" to mount the text of your message - photos will automatically appear at the bottom of your post.

I was on the fence also... get the 22' and in the instance that you cant fully raise it or only want to fly one flag - leave the last section collapsed. The flagpole buddy is telescoping... the last two sections have a small clevis pin to hold them extended.
