Flagstaff VLite advice.

We are considering trading for a Flagstaff VLite bunkhouse. I would appreciate any words on how they tow, any problems , love it hate it etc.
it'll be pulled by a '12 Super Duty diesel. 3/4 ton.

We have a 2013 rockwood Windjammer that we just took delivery about a month ago. No trips yet other than the hour trip from the dealer. We have the bunkhouse version with the outdoor kitchenette. The weight is about 7300 unloaded. I towed it just fine with a 2011 Silverado 1500 with the tow package. I also purchased an Equalizer hitch with the camper. I definitely knew it was behind me, and didn't have any large hills to travel, but all in all I was happy with the way it tows. Our layout is identical I believe to the Vlite and we just love it.

Thumbs up

I don't have the bunk house, but I do have a V-Lite. Have had it for 1 1/2 years now. It has been a great unit and pulls like a dream with my 2500 Dodge. I woundn't hesitate to recommend it.

We have a V-Lite also but not the bunkhouse. Tow it with a Silverado 1500 with the tow package & Equal-I-zer hitch. We love it.

Thanks all! We all love the camper, just need the dealer to " deal" a little more! Guess since its early season they aren't wheeling and dealing just yet.

We are going on our second season with our V-Lite. We love it and would buy another one without a pause.

We have over 12,000 miles on our 11 30WRLS and love it. Have yet to find anything I would trade it in on. Every year we do a couple little modifications to it just to keep up with the new ones or enhance it (Like adding F1100Turbo's remote control awning modification).
