HotterWater

I have a 2016 2306. The hot water just isn't hot enough. Is there a adjustment or mixing valve anywhere? I can't find a dern thing and the DW is not happy.

Doesn't matter if it's gas or electric or both.

Thanks

most people, myself included, would like to turn it down some. Are you sure your bypass valves are set in the correct position?

Posted in a rush. Went grubbing in behind to see if a mixing valve or adjustment existed... Well, the bypass valve was open. The hot probably acted as a venturi sucking cold water in and dropping the temp way down.

Still curious about any adjustments though...

Haha. Cross post. Yup, bypass valve. Rookie type mistake. So adjustments, down OR up..... None exist?

I've never seen one. I'm guessing no.

A household mixing valve would be possible, certainly. You'd get "more" hot water leaving the tank hot and mixing it down.

It's not necessarily just a rookie thing, but does happen a lot especially in springtime as RV'ers come out of hibernation.

It's also the reason we have this sticky (link below) for such at the top of the plumbing section:
