How mouse-proof are current belly panels?
I am waiting to take delivery on our new Wildwood X-Lite 24RLXL Travel Trailer. I am planning to park it on our property which has a really aggressive mouse population. They will move in and build nests in any nook they can find (lawn mower engine, gas grill, etc.)
If I were one of these mice, the underbelly of our new camper would be like paradise. Weather-proof, predator proof, lots of insulation to snooze and reproduce in, lots of wires to chew for exercise, all completely in private.
With our current popup camper, I was obsessive about closing off all potential entry points, and was successful parking it there unmolested by mice for several years. Well, except for the battery box. They also built a nest in the frame, but outside.
Are there a lot of holes and gaps in the belly panels on new Forest River campers? Or are they typically pretty tight? I don't mind spending some time underneath sealing stuff up.
Thanks!
