Impression 290VB

The wife and I are going to buy an Impression 290VB. I was just wondering if anyone had any advice on having a 2nd AC installed. We have a 2019 Passport 2920BH that only has the 1 AC and it gets very warm during late afternoon sun. The Impression is much larger but it also has a 15000BTU AC versus the 13500BTU in the passport.

I've never pulled a 5th wheel, is it any difference between towing a TT versus the 5th wheel?

We have the second air in the bedroom and it's well worth it when your in the desert in the 100 degree plus heat. LOL. I personally like pulling the fifth wheel rather than the trailer I think it pulls better, backing up took a little adjustment because of the pivot point being different than the trailer.
We have the 26RET Impression and love it.

I love mine! Tows well, sets up easy, but like you, the inside gets hot when the sun is high! Will probably put an AC in the BR this spring. Like others, still getting used to backing but the Wife/Spotter and Backup camera helps tremendously!

Thanks for the comments, the one we bought has the 2nd air already installed and a solar panel to keep the battery charged. Haven't tried backing it yet, but pulls great.

You will absolutely love the fifth wheel, backing is a dream due to the pivot point being in the bed of the truck instead of behind the bumper. Recommend going to an empty parking lot and back it up all over the lot. Enjoy it!

My youngest son is a truck driver and has offered to go with me and "teach" me how to back up the truck. He said it would be much easier. We're going to an empty school lot soon to try backing it. We already like it, but there a few things that need to be fixed. We ordered a slide topper, but they forgot to install it before we left. I didn't notice until we got home with the camper.
