Installing Additional Stop & Turn Signal Lighting
34' 2015 Forest River Salem Hemisphere Lite w/2 Slides
I would like to install additional stop & turn signal lighting on my trailer.
Thinking about at the level of the rear window.
High enough to be above a bicycle rack and to get into the line of sight for a driver behind us.
Who has done this?
I have thought of two ways to go about doing this.
1) Use a sticky back cabling raceway that would run vertical from the existing lights to the location of the additional lights. Extend wiring up that raceway to wire in the new lights. Quick, easy, cheap, ...
2) The other thought I had was too drill through the rear wall at each existing light and run new wiring through those holes. We have a couch on that back wall, so I could hide that wiring behind the couch. Would have to drill a second set of holes to go back out to the additional lights. Cleaner install, a little more work, but no more expensive than option 1).
Anyone added additional lights?
Many Thanks.
