Made our decision change 2 LOL!

Ok, so we were all set on the 831 KRSS ............then, I decide to "look around the country" for one since it would be about 12 weeks till we saw ours. I did. After 2 1/2 hours.... found some here and there....from Michigan to right here in VA. Apparently a dealer in VA Beach just got 3 in. (Lisa looks at me and says "The internet is a dangerous thing) So we hop in the truck and head down there this morning. Battled our way through all of the traffic heading to the outer banks, and 3 hours later arrived. Sure enough, he had 3. So we check out what he has, and they were exceptionally nice 08's. The colors and patterns are slightly different and look much better in my opinion. So Lisa says to the guy.....I would like to see the "blue". So he shows us the blue in a 831BHSS. Now, I am looking this thing over and seeing the 3 differences in it as compared to the KRSS and thinking to myself...."wow, this blue looks MUCH different in person than in the book". So the wife has that look on her face.........and says " I could do this". OK...sounds good to me. So, next Saturday we will be taking possesion of our 2007 Flagstaff 831BHSS.

Ahhh the rule of trailer buying.... you will always know what you want until you see something else.

Actually you have to buy the one you knew you always wanted, then you find the one you should have bought after you sign the deal.

Congrats on the decision!

The 25rs being our first has me nervous already.
We are really enjoying it, but as we travel the highways, my wife has been noticing the 5-ers, and larger TT’s.
"Wow, that one is huge!"
“Are those all slides?”
“How do those work? That hitch in the truck deal, does that hook up quicker?”
“The truck could pull that one, couldn’t it?”

I’m guessing that at some point in the future, I’ll end up running a cap on the truck bed only seasonally.

As other have stated, once the boss speaks…

I am totally worn out by the whole process. Don't want to even talk about trailers, options, floor plans anymore. Met a couple with 2 kids out looking.....it was their first day looking. All I could think was "Poor souls".

The way it works at my house is that:

Rule One: Mama will agree to any trailer that I want, provided that I have strictly adhered to...

Rule Two: It must be a "pretty color" and must have plenty of horizontal and vertical spaces so she can fulfill her "mad decorator" fantasies, and:

Rule three: When making my choice I must totally ignore such things as practicality and function in favor of Rule Two.

Enjoy and have fun!

Rule 4: I have to concur with her that her idea of the perfect trailers is mine as well.

Maybe I'm missing something, as frequently happens. No offense intended, but I'm wondering if maybe, just maybe, sorta, kinda, if Mrs. RetiredArmyCWO wrote this post.

Right! Knowing how Mama thinks is a sure sign of an advanced case of marriage. It also insures that we will never argue a point, since we already know we can't win.

Alcohol sometimes helps.

Drinking is considered to be rather base behavior by some campers. A few such folks are friends of mine, and I try to respect their viewpoint. One of these days I'm going to hang a bag of "saline" from the awning rafter and start a drip. That will garner their sympathy and, when I start to get good and "medicated" I'll be able to pass it off as a normal reaction to the special "cocktail" my physician prescribed for my mental condition.
