Smile Maiden Voyage

We purchased our new TT, a Flagstaff 827 and have gone from FL thru Ontario and down into TN. Small problems, easily resolved along the way. The floorplan of this unit is great for two adults. We would like to have larger
gray water holding, due to using many State parks, COE, etc.
We had a tornado hit our campground and blow at us from the rear in Ontario, but we put in the dinnette slide and held our ground with just a boat rocking feeling for a short while.
Having started this trip as beginner campers, our only knowledge had been gleaned from the forums and after two months of road travel so far, we are well pleased with camping and the many wonderful folks we have met along the way.

Road Runner,
Welcome to the world or RV;ing.
I grew up camping and have gotten back into in in past few years since having kiddies.
Going through a few trailers along the way, but we now know that we are going to FT when retirement bug hits us. Mybe even a couple years earlier if we can work-camp somewhere to cover fees.

Smart thing to pull in the slide. There are people who would not have done that. I'll bet it was scary for a while.
