mid bunk 5ver

Looking at all the different 5vers available and the wife finally found a floorplan she likes, the mid bunk rear ent. At first I only saw the sandpipers/sierras, but now seams like everyone caught on. My question is going to be between makes. I would like to know whats the difference between sandpiper and cc silverback. Is there a quality difference that puts one over the other or are they about the same and just options separate them? Thanks for any input.

We looked at all of those at the Hershey show a couple of months ago. We saw the Sierra on YouTube and thought that was the one. Long story short we're glad we went. Nothing like seeing them in person. We wound up at the Columbus section of forest river. The Columbus 377mb impressed us the most. The drawers are dovetailed. All the rest, including the silverback had cheap staples that were all falling out. Most of the staples didn't even make it all the way through the wood. The only thing we didn't care for was the jack knife sofa in the bunk house. But we'll figure something out when the time comes.

Thanks for the reply. I was able to get out to the dealer and see several makes. The Columbus edged out on top by what I saw as well.

One thing the salesman said was that the Columbus has issues with the electronic self leveling system and the hydrolic self levering systems are by far more reliable. If anyone with the electronic system could reply I would appreciate it.

I could be wrong but I thought the 377mb had the hydraulic level system. As an option. I'll have to call and check tomorrow.

Thanks turbs. I've looked at quit online and some in person. So far the Columbus seams to be the front runner. Got a chance to look at both sabre and Columbus the other day.
