Need New Tires

Because I had a blow out on my one year old Towmaster ST 235/80/16 rated E made in China tires. I'm thinging of buying 4 new ST tires or LT tires made in the USA any ideas out there for size and make My 35 ft Cardinale 5th wheel wheighs 13,500. 10,600 on the axles. The distance between my tires is 2.5 in. I see that the LT tires are about 1in. bigger that whould give me a 1.5 in between the tires.
Thanks Bob

The first thing I did on any of my trailers, was to replace the ST's with LT's. I would try to match the tow vehicle, usually 235/85r16. Now though, I have 17's on the TV so on the Wildcat I'm running Maxxis LT's. I have never had a truck tire come apart unlike the "designed for trailer" tires.
