Queen bed for our TT

We have a short queen in out TT. The mattress of course was not good and we added a memory foam topper which make it OK.

We just purchased a Sleep Number bed for the house and rather than throwing out the old mattress I was wondering if anyone has cut down a queen memory foam mattress to fit in a short queen space? I hate to throw away the home mattress as it is only a few years old but it is miles beyond what is in the TT now.

Couldn't hurt to try.

Do a YouTube search for cutting foam. One guy uses an electric kitchen knife, but this looks more efficient
