When I purchased our 5th wheel, I insisted the dealer install a quality full size residential queen mattress. It hangs over the platform 6inches, but doesn't hurt anything. It was well worth it!

We got our memory foam short queen from Amazon and it is really comfortable. A lot of support, which I need after 6 back surgeries.
