Sap on tinted windows.

I tried several solutions
but can't it off. Can a razor blade be used without damaging window. Glue is dry and tough to get off.

Assuming this is on exterior glass.... use lighter fluid on a microfiber. That will resolve quickly.
Note lighter fluid is great for lots of things.

Next time try clear water with a clean towel. Other products harden the sap and make it tougher to remove. Trick I've used for years. It may still work . Try it.

turpentine is a good solvent for tree sap. It is actually made from Pine sap.

Haven't had anything yet that Dawn dish soap wouldn't take off.

Sappy Windows

As one person said, "Goof Off" will probably remove it. But the most simple solution is to use regulas cooking oil, followed by soap.

Another thing you might try is rubber cement thinner. It is fairly pricey, but, a little goes a long way. We used to use it back in the days of photographic cells for slide presentations. But, if you have some white gas (like Coleman camping fuel), it is made from basically the same stuff - naphtha and you can buy it by the gallon at most sporting goods stores. I have not had it take the plastic off of anything (or melt it like acetone does) and it works great for most glues. Just another thing to try.

The best solution to clean auto windows is a mixture of 8 oz. Denatured Alcohol, 8 oz. & 1 table spoon white vinegar, with newspaper. No streaks and removes sap.

it must be the alcohol in the hand sanitizer that is removing the sap. Going to give that a try next time I get sap on the truck or trailer

SAP ??? Too many abbreviations ...

When I started reading this post I was puzzled what SAP was an abbreviation for. Then AHAH! Too simple, tried to make it more complicated. LOL

Skin So Soft

If you can find it, I use a product called skin so soft. Whatever is in it, it is gentle, cheap and it works. Comes in a little spray bottle. My DW told me that it's an Avon product. Also keeps the bugs off you. Good luck.
