Siding billowing Coachmen Clipper 17FQ
Did I dream it or is there a thread on this topic somewhere on this forum. I ran a search but only found complaints about it, not solutions. At interstate speeds, the siding on the front sides of my trailer (ahead of the windows--above storage doors) billowed out so badly that the siding separated. Thankfully, it did not blow off! 1000 miles from home in 35 degree rain, I resorted to duct tape to keep the water out and finally found an ACE Hardware (Wall, SD) and popped about 25 small sheet metal screws in the seams. That held it together and reduced the "billowing" to more like "puffing". I tried squirting construction adhesive in but it did not appear to have anything to stick to...... There appears to be nothing substantial past the nose of the trailer to screw anything to. Not even window frame/extensions.
Any solutions? IS there anything to attach it to? I've even considered some sort of decoration that could be attached to the outside and then secured inside????? Wife says that's a NO. Help!
