Towing 26 foot trailer to Tahoe what's the best route 80 or 50 leaving San Jose any suggestions help

South Lake Tahoe Hwy 50- a little windee but easily doable
North Shore I80

Heading to South Shore Tahoe Valley RV resort I guess 50s our best bet but it's a 2 Lane Rd. I think ?

2 Lanes with plenty of turn outs and passing lanes sprinkled in.

we prefer I80 but that's because we generally go to Reno or the North Shore.
if your destination is the South Shore, I50 would definitely be the way to go.
