Things I've Done

I've only had my new Wildwood for a couple of months, but I've done some things to make camping more pleasant and secure.

1. Secured battery and spare tire with steel cables and Master locks
2. Secured LP tanks by drilling hole through wing nut and bracket and locking them down.
3. Added brass L to city water connection to keep from abusing connection.
4. Used quick connects to attach water hose to filter
5. Purchased indoor /outdoor carpeting and made step covers. (attached with zip ties)
6. Purchased sink covers to match stainless steel look of appliances
7. purchased 16/16 tile to be used as stove top cover. Put skid resistant shelf paper on back to keep cover from sliding. Cover also doubles as cutting board.
8. Purchased vinyl cover for head of Tongue jack. Also keep trailer plug under it to keep out rain.
9. Purchased new bucket for bucket light
10. Lubed all jacks and slide gears with silicone spray to keep then free of rust and dirt.

What have you done?

I changed the pigtail around so I could use the bumper plugin.
Got a can of WD-40's silicone spray and used the daylight out of it, locks, hinges, if it moves or turns I sprayed it.
Cleaned all the saw dust out of the light fixtures.
Checked the air in the tires and made sure all the tools I bought would work when I get a flat.
Bought a set of triangles for safety (mine).

Still a bunch yet to do but I have time.

What about a medium range "turbs approaching!" warning device? :-)

Not to worry, Bomb Doc has that covered, short, med and long range, plus I have a dog that can smell him 5 miles off.

In addition, the Scott County Sheriff calls when FT Turbs leaves the county.

So I just got done with this, still need to build the second one but I need to buy more screws.

I will plant them a couple of inches in the ground and then park the trailer tires on then to keep it from sitting in the dirt and sinking when the ground is wet.
