Thinking About Replacing "Drive" stereo/dvd

OK... today I got our "No AM radio reception" problem fixed... pulled out the "Drive" stereo unit out, and found the antenna wadded up in the ball it comes in from the factory. No attempt to unfold it at the factory, or at our dealer during our "inspection" when I complained that we could get NO AM reception.

Now, we have AM reception, but I still hate this "Drive" unit... it is such a PITA to tune any stations unless they are right at 88.1 or nearby... Just a PITA!!

It also sounds like crap... which I know is the speakers. I've already got new speakers picked out and in my Amazon cart... so I'll get that taken care of.


But I'm really wanting to get rid of this "DRIVE" unit... I just don't like it.

Looking at either Jensen JWM60A or Magnadyne RV5090 units... also open to others as well, these are just the 2 I've found searching on Amazon that look like they will fill the bill.

What have you guys upgraded to... any suggestions??

I'm just amazed somebody still tunes in to AM stations, lol. Heck, I don't even do FM anymore, had turned in to a radio wasteland.
