Mostly because a bottle jack on the side of a sloped two-lane with a crumbly shoulder is a chancy proposition. If I am bottle-jackin, I usually double down with lift/leveling pads as a brace - just in case.

Our 235's are tandem torsion axles, which do not interact with each other, so when you lift the trailer on one wheel, it has to be high enough such that the other axle can hang completely free at the limit of its extension. Thanks to the "plus" designation, there's a little extra height to the unit that helps with this (It's a little harder to find the original Trailer Aid without the extra height and black pad, but they are still out there).

Deano went ahead and braved Amazon to find that the Trailer Aid Plus works wonders on our narrowgap, tandem axle trailers.

Just my .02, hope this helps.
I have used my trailer aid plus several times I love it

Be sure whatever jack or device you use lifts the wheel high enough to not only get the flat tire Off the trailer but high enough to get the fully inflated spare wheel On the trailer. Learned this the hard way laying in the gravel on the side of the Ohio Turnpike seven years ago. Blow out -- not merely a flat -- was fortunately on the curb side.

Based on "Murphy's Law of Available Parts and Tools" I now carry a medium size floor jack and my rattle gun knowing I'll never need them.

Get a 11/2 or 2 ton scissor jack and set it up to except a socket to raise it. That will be plenty to change a tire on your camper or truck. You will most likely have a drill with you, so break the lugs loose use the drill to jack up the wheel and to remove the lugs

In needing to take a wheel to have the tire replaced I began to search for ways to jack one wheel off the ground. I saw the Trailer Aid. I really considered it but I'm always concerned about adding that 'just one more' thing to carry.
Instead I realized that using my leveling blocks to reach 4 blocks high does the job. I have the Dexter 5 400 lb Torsion Axles. If for example I need to change the rear tire I place my blocks in front of the front tire and pull forward until the front tire is on the blocks and the rear tire is off the ground

That is what we carry too. Our trailer has torsion axles so we have to be careful where a jack would go.
