Trouble with Satellite signal

Keep getting a message that reads receiver does not detect SWM, Could the problem be that the new receiver D12-100 is not compatible with my old dish and LNB?

Don't know about that... but it might be that you are running your signal through a splitter or a bad coax connection.

You might post back with more info. on the antenna and receiver for the smart people who might be able to help.

Do you have an option to select multi-switch? If so try that. I had the same message SWM not detected on my new dish and LNB so I changed to multi-switch and that worked. Good luck.

Do you have a SWM antenna and are you using a proper power inserter to power SWM antenna?

Thanks for the reply, I did find a setting to switch to multi switch and that solved my problem.
