I use an advanced cruise control system that not only maintains speed but adapts to maintain distance from vehicles in front. Also, BLIS which assists by indicating when a vehicle is in the lane to either side all the way back past the rear of my trailer. Plus many other little goodies which you can turn on or off.

I use a system many of you may have which sits beside me and alerts me of any vehicles up the road that are braking.
It is loud and says "BRAKES!!"

The Tundra's cruise is problematic once the terrain becomes hilly, for sure.

Funnily enough my forward warning system will try the brakes on the passenger side. . . it is amusing to watch . . .
Cheers

Ha-ha... mine too.
And if her pedals don't start slowing us down quickly enough to suit, then she's grabbing for the console and armrest and screaming "turn signal" or "brake lights"... all the while, the object in front of us is still 1/2 mile ahead and has safely turned off long before I ever left off the gas.
The perspective must be way different on the right side of the vehicle.

Yes, to Adaptive Cruse Control and Lane-Keeping System. Only on highways that permit it's safe use.

My spouse uses the passenger foot break, leans back and grabs on the the OS handle. It was much more fun when drifting in the Challenger.
Only time I use adaptive cruise is when towing and it adjusts speed/brake as needed without intervention.
My vehicle will stop after the low flying object warning light and audibles sound if I don't brake. Tested but without an RV in tow.

All the time. I love the cruise control when towing; it is hard to keep a constant speed with the 5er on behind if I have to do it manually on the highway. It's a lot less fatiguing to let the CC do it. The only thing is, on hilly roads I lock out sixth else I lose 5+ on the uphills before the cruise kicks in and tries to get back to setpoint. This pisses off other drivers, especially truckers LOL.

Like others who have mentioned adaptive cruise control, my Ram 3500 has that and I've used it with our 5ver on two-lane highways, going through small towns, letting it slow us down to follow other traffic, then back up to speed outside of town. It works great in conjunction with the exhaust brake.

I use cruise control and tow haul mode on dry highways with 10 to 15 mph winds . Our Suburban gets 2 mpg better than with it over my driving it. Has worked well for over 35,000 miles. Flagstaff 27 RLWS
trailer.

I always use cruise control except on ice or show. Cruise control along with tow haul and engine brake are a great combination on level roads and mountains.

Growing up on a farm I was taught to never use the cruise control while towing. You will shift your transmission to death. Especially don’t use it in hills.

Guess I am the lone wolf here. I prefer not using cc especially in hilly areas. I have a 2019 FBS with a 2018 F150 5.0. Don’t really sense the load.

I use cruise along with tow/haul every time I tow as long as weather permits. I also have the audible brake alarm and the right hand braking system.
