Luckily for me, my work travels takes me by there fairly regularly, so when the call comes I'm going by there to inspect it before I drive up on my dime.

Then, we're going to discuss compensating me for my travels, just in diesel alone I'm out $30. This after I had to drag it back up there when they didn't get it fixed in time for a trip, a trip scheduled beforehand, they were warned about, and I was told sure, bring it in, six weeks is plenty of time. So, it wasn't repaired at all, I went on my trip, and it was two months later when I called trying to find out when it was going to get fixed.

It took them more than four just to look at it the first time. Four weeks. Just to look at it.

I'll mildly threaten them with the typical blogging, social media, etc. See where it goes.

SKnight, have you been in contact with your brand's warranty manager? Could they help you get another dealer or authorized repair facility?

Not yet. Here's the timeline.

Purchased late Jan, lets say Feb 1st for warranty start.

Noticed the typical punch list of items we all have about May. Called, asked about lead times, they said they were swamped, nothing was serious, so I waited.

Late June, noticed the rear window leaking. Not wanting the interior of the wall damaged I called again, I delivered the camper to them July 23rd and gave them until the end of the first week of Sept, six weeks, with assurance that they were good and it would be ready.

They didn't even bring it in until Sept 20th, four weeks. They ordered parts, I gave them an extra week, picked it up and went camping.

And waited. Parts finally arrived in Oct. but were damaged. I called them again in late Nov. and finally parts arrived. I took it back Dec 13th with a due date of Jan 21st. Hoping that this is the end, I went to get it today.

So now it's possibly going to be a call to FR. I was so mad I forgot to take pictures of this shoddy work but might ride up there Monday and take some before they can fix any of it.

Infuriating. All of it.

Given that timeline, I'd call FR Monday and try to get help finding a different dealer. That's insane. Even if you have to pay out of pocket and be reimbursed, it would be worth it. I couldn't imagine trusting this dealer with another attempt.

Sadly, their work was crap before, they assured me that they would give it to someone else.

I see how that worked out.

It is easy for me to sit here and tell you to bail when it isn't my camper. But yeah- definitely try contacting the warranty manager. Have you seen the contact list link that is floating around the site?

Nice. I want to do this up in our front closet. There is one light in there that is way too dark.

I have, I also have the freshly updated FR website with both sales and service contacts. I'm penning a nastygram right now, I just wish I had my VIN number handy. The email might have to wait until then.

Front closet is next, along with a switch on the outside of the closet, currently have to reach in to turn on the crappy single bulb fixture.
Going to do 2 more of the kitchen cabinets as well and inside the island as it is as dark as a cave in there.

That's our exact setup. Please post pics and parts (with links- I'm kind of a dummy!) as you do it.

Camping in mine this weekend. Out here with about a dozen others. Went into the teens both nights so we had a huge bonfire - can't even call it a campfire. Had some freezing rain overnight so now I'm waiting for the regular rain that is falling now to melt it, then I'm on my way home.

Added 2 aluminum Angle "iron" to the bottom of the U shape dinette plywood, as my fat butt is a bit much for it when climbing in and out of the Bunk (#1 reason I hate my floorplan!). If that doesn't work, then I will get some thicker plywood, and still use the aluminum angle. Also, started laying out the WiFi repeater system I am building.
