Must have been 30 stickers I removed from our unit. Sanitized the water system, will flush it out tomorrow. A good cleanup and roof, wheel and tire inspection and she will be ready to roll
Let's see it! What's the plan, new stickers or something custom?

What I did with my camper today

I dug it out of the 6.7 inches of "Spring" that fell over night and the storage center plowed in front of it.
I'd rather been around a campfire!!

Started the SAM-1-81 Range Hood Up Grade by removing the range hood. After getting it in the garage, found out it is not an easy "remove screws, replace old unit with new unit and reinstall" job. The hood is a Hengs and the original fan housing is spot welded to the hood. Had to drill out 18 spot welds to remove it. Instead of attaching the up graded fan assy with screws, I decided to use 6 of the spot weld holes to pop rivet it in place. Now to tackle wiring it up and reinstalling in the camper.

Yeah...that's our "FROG" Shrine

Seems no matter where we go, DW finds some sort of Frog-themed garden ornament - better yet, she finds them in the 50-75% off sale shelves

So, yeah, come Goshen we will have quite the display

It also has a unique feature that if you remove the washable filter, the fan will not run. Anxious to see how the dual control for the light and the 3 speed squirrel cage fan works and how much quieter it is.
X2 Neil! Let me know how that goes...I HATE having to open the vent from the outside (because I always forget ) Plus the clip is a PITA to open and close.
Yeah, turn on the fan and it sounds like we have fired up a swamp buggy in the kitchen! Quieter would be better.

I agree, we ordered a 2nd Create-A-breeze fan for the kitchen and our vent has never been opened.

Pulled it out of the back yard onto the concrete driveway and opened all the slides 😃

Will not be long now .... Our seasonal site opens April 1 👍

It has been a long, cold winter here

The BOSS doesn't even know we have a range vent. The only time it has been on was to see if it worked! (When) we cook, it is outdoors on the grill or an electric skillet. We light the stove to get the gas flowing in the lines and light it when we turn off the gas bottles so we can see that the gas in the lines is off.

If it were up to her, that area would serve better for a bigger sink or more counter space. Granted, we don't get to go as often as most of you fine folks and she would just as soon partake in the local cuisine. As a rule, when on a trip, we don't eat at a franchise we have at home. So the result is a camper that doesn't have that cooked food odor.

Finished the SAM 1 Range Hood Update. Wouldn't have been a bad job other than drilling out the spot welds. Sorry the pictures aren't that great. Like the 3 speed fan and the 2 light intensities (led) and the ability to open the vent from inside. Took the @#$$%^ door off completely.

Backed her up onto her new, almost finished pad, then drove back off and backed onto the new driveway so we can change out the sway bars. We've been taking turns being sick or just out of sorts, so hoping we can get it done this week. Taking two of the grandkids to the Grand Canyon next week and can't wait to see how she handles.

Does it come with a new vent for the wall of the trailer?

Took the cover off my trailer this past weekend. Of course the first thing it does Monday is sleet. I'm not worried about it, its the constant melting, freezing, melting, freezing that I worry about.
Anyway. I found on the blogs that adding an extra layer of protection to the roof seals is important to extending the life of them. Pictured below, I taped up the seals and added a cabinet handle to the typically permanently closed water filter and pump access door on the Roo.

Yes, you order either a white or black one.

Nothing to the camper, spread the last 21 bags out of 41 bags of pine bark nuggets between the side of the porch and drive and around the front of the house. Now, TOWTA can get off my back. Also had to mow our bumper crop of wild onions yesterday. Oh and I found 15 blades of grass which I also mowed on the 1.48 acres of rock, clay & weeds.

Put some stuff back into the basement. It's shocking how much space I have when it isn't littered with kid stuff (toys, pool gear, scooters, you name it).

Picked up a new license plate bracket and an LED plate light with the DOT-required standoff so I have everything needed to pull the standard incandescent taillights and replace them with the Bargman LED units I bought (post #2945). Now for non rainy day to install them and caulk a few other things I noticed opened up after the winter...

Worked from home today so went out in the rain and measured the front pass-through storage compartment for insulation to nip the issue of the head of the bed being cold (as we already experienced) or hot (likely to happen - haven't summered in the new TT yet). There's only the 1/2" of lightweight plywood at the top for the bed and wardrobe platform, and the very HEFTY 2.7mm paneling for the common wall with the cabin... Turns out, I have just enough leftover rigid R5 from some home projects to do the job. Good thing DW is much, much smaller than I!
