Got back from our first camping trip of the year yesterday, so I cleaned out all the linens and perishable supplies.
We went to San Luis Reservoir, CA. Had a wonderful time! Quite a nice place, nice showers, clean flushing toilets. Trailers and tent friendly. Fishing was good. Only rained Saturday evening, rest of the weekend was great! I believe this is a good place to go in the Spring, as I'll bet it gets HOT in the summer, and you have to drive to get to the water. The camp spots had good shade. Spaces were very roomy.

I reserved a seasonal site today. Shucks I guess I'd better get the camper ordered. Now if a dealer would just agree to my price!

Took our Pull-Rite Superglide 3100 hitch over to General RV & had it all checked over & lubricated for our 1st camping trip this weekend.

replaced leaking shower spigot since dealer apparently doesn't winterize their inventory. Bought it in January and was assured many times is was full of antifreeze. I had my doubts, and apparently I was right.

There idea of winterizing new inventory is blowing out with air and an air pressure test!

Dug it out of the snow bank. So I could take it to the dealer for some warranty work. Before the next snow storm hits. Going to be sometime yet before the campgrounds open up around here in Minnesota.

Washed it, waxed the nose to help with bugs tomorrow. Washed the TV too.

Loading it up tomorrow morning and sneaking off camping for the weekend!

Picked it up from dealer. It was there for almost 4 weeks to adjust awning and replace weatherstrip on main slide. Big surprise, neither was fixed! Steaming mad, especially since I'm going camping this weekend for kids cub scouts and it's supposed to rain. Unbelievable!

I think I fixed the fresh tank siphoning problem, then I pulled it about 70 miles away to camp with some FROGs!

took the cover off

We took the cover off the camper today! Open that bad boy up and everything looks good. Painted the brackets for the awning poles that I purchased from OC.

Completely tore out the big closet in my FR3 25ds. Got some nice cherry out of the barn, shopped online for new doors. Next step is to rebuild with sliding drawers on one side, nice wire baskets on the other and a space between large enough for the dinnette pad and spare blankets and pillows. Then new drawers under the dinette seats. Probably anew drawer under the clots too. The one they put in uses only about 1/3 of the available space, no reason to waste space in a small coach.
