Returned to Texas this past weekend from a month in Colorado. We scattered the ashes of both our four legged friends in the mountains where they loved to romp in the woods. Today I gave the 5r a much needed bath.

Decided to bite the bullet as it cooled down from 92 to 90 and the sun was behind the trees.

Took the MH in for a front end alignment today, noticed after our 8500 km's in three weeks trip that the left front tire was starting to wear on the inside of the thread, mechanic said it wasn't out much, reset to specs that Brian Clemens has posted here before and all is good now.

Looking good. What did you make the stabilizers from ? Looks like you got some premade extending bars ? Did you tap the holes for the tightening bolts/handles yourself or were there pre-threaded holes in the outer bar ?

Made them out of square tubing about 7 yrs ago for our 08Flagstaff 833RLSS. Got the tubing from a scrap yard here in Concord. Made everything and when we traded the 08 for the present 12Flagstaff 8528RKWS all I had to do was make new anchor brackets.

Not the camper, but got new tires on the truck.

And we started getting travel ready to head to Elkhart tomorrow for some work on Thursday.:

Sadly, found we have another water leak- this time it seems is shower pan related.

Going to make wear strips for the slide. Mine finally gave up the ghost. Did make an improvement to TOWTA's old junker. It has a roof console for a 3 station remote garage door opener. Of course hers didn't have one so I bought an old one on ebay and even tho' it doesn't match the console, I got it programmed for both of our garage doors and will program the center one for Mardy's garage door where he stores his Caddy. Like it, does away with the visor remotes.

Well I was washing my unit and found that the brand new leveling Ram has pitted again. Just had it replaced by Lippert on the 5th of August 2015. I have call into them now to find out why the exact same side did it again. If I don't get it repaired it will rip my "O" ring has just been two weeks. I'm not a happy camper.

Bet they didn't replace it unless you saw them do it with your own eyes.

Got the front wear strip made and trial fitted, made it 1" wider than the plastic one. Will now make one for the rear. To flipping hot to work outdoors now, so will make the other one in ac and install them when it cools off tonight or tomorrow morning.

You are correct they will never install another on a Rockwood they had to add more bracing to the frame, but Ram is what bothers me the same place same ram. I did see the old one and the new one was not pitted. LCI called me extended my warranty a year, and said they will have it done here in Virginia. He wants a picture sent and said they may need to send there service guy to my house to do it. Atleast they are helping and standing up to the problems. When I was there they refused a guy who owned a Rockwood, they said never again to much beefing up the frame.
