Spent some time in it this morning...vacuumed it, started loading up a few items for this weekend (canned goods, etc.) and replacing stock I "borrowed" from it the last week or two (paper towels, etc.).

Oh, I removed two of the dining table chairs and stored them in his shop. It's just the two of us and the table looks crowded with 2 chairs jammed in on each side. Can always put 'em back if we're going to be camping with our "family of choice" couple in TX.

Thanks, we love it. Our third TT, first 5th wheel. Been used twice so far. Hope to keep it shining like new for awhile. The orbital polisher was my best friend this weekend.

Didn't do much to the camper itself, cleaned it up a bit. As for the site.........

Our first season at our seasonal site
Cleaned up a ton of leaves!
And put new rock in flower bed that rings the patio
Racked more leaves!

Glad to be back home so I can relax!!!!!

Bought a new jack just for the camper, since I didn't have one. Had a 25% coupon for Harbor Freight. Now I have an 8 ton jack for a 2 ton camper. So, I jack up and spun the left rear and pulled out the nail I noticed while doing my inspection at the campground. Did the soapy water test at the campground, and it passed, so I figure I would leave it there until I got home. My luck, it would start leaking if I pulled it out. So, I pulled it out at home. Luckily, it was in the thickest part of the thread, and at a very good angle, and it wasn't long. Did the soapy water test again, and no leaks.

What about the staining and sealing or does the DW have to do that for her own present? Whata' guy, makes his wife work on her own present.

OK OK OK I'll do the staining (to match the Exterior decor AND spar varnish to protect it from Mother Nature's elements )

Today I just messed around and did some odd small jobs for DW which included measuring the pantry for the basket mod. Also, painted OC's awning brackets. They are sweet! Another coat tomorrow and I'll be putting them on. Painted the awning cradle while I was at it.

Not boards - those are the 5x5 fencepost cover - I was sanding them to rough them up a bit to take the coat of paint

I am wondering OC - do you think I should put a spacer between the bolt and the upper bumper? The fit is SOLID and does not wiggle at all (I have 4 clamps) it just looks....odd

Might try sliding the clamp over against the frame rail and pushing the rear bolt flush with the bumper and see what it looks like. I mounted 2 on a pc of tubing and bolted thru' the I beam flange.

Painted the awning kit from OC. Replaced the kitchen faucet with a domestic style with veggie sprayer. Started loading it up with all the stuff we took off for winter storage.
