Into the shade. All that's left now is electricity in a few days.

Painted my fence post sewer holder black to match the trailer, flushed the water heater.. Re-sealed some seams that have worked loose.

I live in south Texas, if it snows 8" inches here, the whole world is going to hell. This is on a 600 acre ranch. No neighbors for miles and miles.

I'm pleased. Apparently you don't subscribe to Al Gore's theory of GLOBAL WARMING. Thankfully so. We are preparing for a typical winter in South Jersey.
I'll heat our home with approximately 4.5 tons of pellets and 1 ton in the shed in reserve. We also have a ton of Pennsylvania coal on hand to heat our pole barn along with approximately 2 cords of spit-seasoned hardwood to back everything up.
God bless us. [emoji91]

Wow when it snows 4 ft everything goes just as if it was a summer day. At least for me, only difference snow blower comes out instead of lawn mower.

Lets see.

Today i washed the roof and sides, flushed the black tank and hot water heater. Ill have to get an anode soonish and replace the one currently installed.

the other day though i did some other small projects

replaced the shades in the bedroom with blackout shades, added a robe hook next to the shower in the bathroom, added a broom mount to the basement storage area and reorganized both of the basement storage areas, an added 2 vent covers to the fantastic fans

Pics are of before and after installing the blackouts and the other minor mods from the other day (not sure why the before pics are loading upside down)

Mrs Evens, have not seen these tiles before, are they a peel and stick or do you have to glue they on?

Had a power jack installed on my hitch. No more cranking. Picked up a set of Anderson Levelers. Trying them all out this weekend. Impressed with both.

I live in northern Saskatchewan, if it snows 8" it's considered normal.

Bought the "Claw Awning Tiedown kit". It was $70 with free Prime 2-day shipping. The claw, by itself was either $20 or $25 but you paid for shipping. Both said that there was a 1-3 day delay before they shipped.

The kit gets you two claws, a carrying bag, a cheap hammer, and a pair of crappy straps. I was pressed for time and the extra money for prime shipping was what swayed me. Given if you're normal, don't waste your money on the "kit".

I couldn't get dog tie-downs into the ground here. However, the Claw made it in just fine. It's super secure from what I can tell. I'm looking forward to what it is like to take out and how it takes to getting into different grounds.
