I have a 2014, heritage glen lite TT, 262 FL. I have replaced two brake drums and now have a destroyed axle spindle and looking like another night in a hotel while headed to Nashville for more camping.

The Goodyear folks here in Cookeville , Tn have been great. They are trying to have a new spindle welded onto the existing axle as the delivery date for an OEM is not till October 21, This is the second brake failure that resulted in burning the bearings into the spindle in an 800 mile trip.

Lugs and Bearings were checked, Prior to departure. Two different towing trucks, one with an add on brake controller and the new truck F350 with an integrated brake controller. So I don't think it is the brake controller, thinking it is an issue with the original brake drums.

If Anyone else is experiencing this type of failure would love to hear what your doing. Dealers said he has never heard of this before.

It's done for a reason. So you can keep air flowing even with the door closed.

BOB you have developed a real problem with stink. I hope your down wind from me at the rally, REMEMBER you live in a rolling outhouse when you travel..... They do make products to make it smell like roses....

Spent the last day of our camping trip relaxing. Sat outside drinking coffee and had lunch till the rain started. We then moved inside and played board games. And again our 9 y/o beat us at Dino-oply.

I'm sure you will figure something out. Maybe build a robot or train the dog.

Today I tried to buy Moth Balls for mice proofing. Not available any more, naphthaline is hazardous to peoples health. I bought extra electric mouse defender, putting it under by the rear of the trailer where they could get in.

For me, I installed a storage box onto my rear bumper.

The box is cheap and will store my sewer accouterments (campsite elbow, donut, wye, XXL ZipLoc bag for filling with water if I need weight for my sewer connection).

It's not much, but it'll free up some space from the basement.

Pulled 400+ miles from Colorado Springs to Moab. It's held steady with no change in 4 zip ties.

Going to keep traveling and watching it. If I have to switch to metal straps, I will.

Not if it's gone.

Cleaned the awning, washed the Maxair covers and vents, then washed the entire trailer. DW helped made fast work. 38 ft long and high walled park model is a lot of tin! 2 more nights then we need to close it up for the Winter,😟
