Took some compound and polisher to the front end today to get off oxidation then waxed it. Can't seem to get the baked on bug guts off. Learned how hard it will be to put linens on the new mattress as it is a REALLY tight fit. Leave on Wednesday for camping thru holiday.

Finally got the time to modify the forward cabinet to allow room to put the TV above it. My Vengeance 25V has basically the same floorplan as the GreyWolf 26RR, but the RR had a much better setup for the TV.

Real simple job to use a recip saw to cut off the upper portion of the cabinet. Placed one-inch outside quarter round to cover the cut and stained it to match cabinet finish. As a side benefit when I put the quarter round on it created a new shelf with a one inch lip all around so I can put keys, remotes, etc., there and they won't fall off onto the floor.

I didn't think to take a before picture so the first one here is a "stock" picture showing what the area looked like prior to the project.

Here's the "after" picture:

BTW Glenn, it was awfully quiet driving, OH CRAP, I got the dog and forgot TOWTA! Oh well, she can always just uncover her old junker and drive down. Sure was an enjoyable ride tho'.
Since you gave her the computer bug, but better watch what you post, might turn around and bite you in the A@@. Have Fun Old Man and say hi to Bomb Doc for me....

Use slightly wet dryer sheets to soften and remove but guts

Per my weather radio, ended up at 8.8" at the airport. I'm about a mile from there.

Well, Dusty and I made it to Fawn Ridge in Davenport, FL at 1:05pm today, a day early and without TOWTA. Hopefully she'll make it tomorrow or Wed for sure. Sure hope she isn't PO'd.

Installed the new gas detector and a couple of smoke alarms. One smoke alarm in the entry and one in the garage. I have had them for awhile. Just got them up.

Got my JoyRider suspension kits ordered. Scheduled on Tuesday-Friday to have them install along with a handful of other things.

Also ordered a 12v cigarette outlet and a 12v pair of USB outlets for my technology nook.

And ordered a twist on gate valve to handle that 1/2-cup of stinky gray water that always seems to be waiting for me when I arrive somewhere.

True dat, boo.

Otherwise, I've been playing phone tag with Todd Eash of Patrick Industries to find out WTF is going on with my IRV66 radio- the sound cuts out/stutters fairly constantly. Hopefully connecting with him to get some resolution to that today.

Well I had my Husky hitch transferred from my 2004 F-250 to my new to me 2007 F-250 with 33000 miles on it. Also had my new revolution installed. (still can't turn it by hand) also it looks completely different then the one that came with the 5er. The integrated trailer brake works great. The frame of a 2004 is different then the 2007. The CountrySide Service center had to make new brackets. Ford dealership will inspect it in the AM. They are selling me a bumper to bumper Warranty for 48 mos/ 60,000 miles with a 100,00 dollar deductible. You could see the difference between the engine's. That was a surprize to me. Either way I'm pleased with the truck and condition. Only regret I have is that my best friend passed who owned it, and his wife said she knows that I would want it, May Paul RIP my friend. I'll take good care of your baby. Also sold Big Blue in 3 days. I guess not eveyone is scared of the 6.0.
