Enjoy your trip. Weather is awesome for this time of year. I'm in southern WI.

Thank you. We had to cancel last year due to ongoing family issues but have decided that the journey will not wait again. Really looking forward to it.

Nothing to the camper, trimmed some trees so I can move the trailer over on the gravel in preparation to having the whole driveway pressure washed Tues. Have to get OCW & Glenn's campsites cleaned up. Going to move our 5er today so I don't have to back it out in the yard. Frankie and I spent a couple of hours filling the ruts this morning some idiot made getting stuck.

Had enough trouble filling in the ruts some idiot made in my own yard. Ran out of fill dirt anyway. Some folks just get dumber the older they get.

You might be ok, Doug, I started out with a head start on being dumb. Wasn't too hard to get dumber.

Installed a 12v power point at my battery box to power my portable air compressor.

I want to do that on my truck or fifth wheel for the same reason.

Do you have a link for the part? And do you need anything on the air compressor side of things (mine just has clamps for positive and negative posts)?

Blue Sea Systems 12 Volt Dash Socket

I was using an adapter that plugged into the 7 pin plug to power the pump.
Tow Ready 118019 7-Way Cigarette Lighter Plug Adapter

The Blue Sea power point will give easy access to a cigarette lighter plug without backing the truck next to the TT. My Viair pump has a cigarette plug for power connection.

Interesting- my Viair has different attachments. Crud.

I know a long time ago, I saw a tow truck that plugged their jumper cables in near the front grill without opening the hood. I think I need something like that.

You could also use what they use on drag cars to keep the battery's up. Insulated covered ends that get wired to the bat. And when you take the cover off you can attach your alligator clips to them. Come plus and minus. What you saw was a plug for jumper cables.

I flew in from Mexico today and met OldCoot on the way home from the airport to pick up a set of awning poles. I will now get them powder coated or painted. OldCoot is a very nice guy, and the awning poles look awesome. Thanks for the invite for lunch and I apologize for not being able to join you. Had allot to do before heading to the campground.

Also.... Hooked up and went camping! We are staying at a local campground / park (Tanglewood Park) until Monday. It is right next to the baseball complex my boy will be playing at all weekend.
