I stopped using chemicals for some time before adding the Blue Streak. I was always told the chemicals never had enough time to even do anything when you add them then dump within a few days. We used to dump the black tank every trip. So I figured what was the point.

I have camped with the winnebago for 12 years and have never used chemicals and have never had a problem, however I did install a cameo cyclone vent cover when I first got the winnie

We use a Blue Streak but use a 50/50 mix of water and SuperClean.

I did put a couple of capfuls of Pinesol in with the SuperClean and water, but this fall when we went to FL, we weren't getting anything out of it. Something had congealed in the bottom. Took it off the wall, cleaned everything out and started using just the 50/50 mix of SuperClean & water. No problems for the 3 months we were down there. I may try adding some Pinesol to a mix in a bottle and just let it set for a couple of months and see what happens.

Does the Blue Streak need to be "winterized?"

For winterization you just disconnect the hose to the reservoir and and empty the reservoir

I've never winterized mine, talked to the owner and he said not to worry about winterizing .

But this is what the website says
Q: How do I winterize the Blue Streak Dispenser?
A: Run the chemical level low [1to 2 inches] in the reservoir and winterize your unit as you would normally. To remove chemical from the reservoir; unscrew the tank from the wall leaving tubing attached to tank and pour chemical into another container.

Mines empty by the end of the year anyway.

I've left mine alone. I will close the clamp at the toilet and by the time I am done flushing the lines it is bled dry. It does freeze but I've never noticed if it expanded or not..

We enjoyed the campground life this morning and then enjoyed the afternoon at the ball field. Went 1-1 today.

Question for the group....

What dump valves go to which location? I have a grey, black, and galley. There is a blank for the black 2 option. I also have a black flush, a blank for tank flush, and a black 2 flush.

What does each one dump? Is the black both toilets (should be).

What is the galley?

Does the grey dump the shower and the bathroom sinks?

Why do I have a black tank 2 flush but not a black tank 2 valve?

I thought I paid attention, but I also though it was simple. Coming from the motorhome world this is more complicated than I thought.

One final Q. Am I missing a valve somewhere? My stinky slinky is full of something but all valves are pushed in to closed.

Thanks

Just had a hail storm the size of a golf balls. I was worried about the TT. It did not damage anythang. We are headed to lake DeGray in the morning for the next 2 weeks.

Got a few things accomplished today. Our first trip with the new camper will be Tuesday!

1. Adjusted the brakes that were dragging (too tight from stealership)
2. In the process proved that the Andersen jack WILL NOT WORK with the '16 Grey Wolf 26dbh. It lacked at least 4" in raising the side high enough for the other tire to clear. I guess the up side to the muddy field that calls itself RV storage is that I could dig a hole under the tire to get clearance.
3. Strapped a new Aluminum step ladder to the rear rack.
4. Shoveled the pile of gravel I had to maneuver around in the storage lot, into the mud puddles I had to maneuver around to park in the storage lot. There isn't a lot of storage available around here right now...

Nothing today, but plan on touching up the polish job on our inner(upper) awning poles tomorrow. After 4 yrs, they are showing some dark spots.

DH and I filled fresh water tank and checks for leaks. We were rather proud of ourselves since nothing leaked and the hot water tank worked. We did the winterizing ourselves so we were a little worried. Since it was pouring down rain, we also checked for any inside leaks. None there either. Yea! Just two weeks until we have our first little trip planned!

Spend Dicor on roof spots that were worn and damaged.

Cleaned/deoxidized skylights since I was on the roof, anyways.

Tested propane system and ran the A/C and furnace for the first time.

Installed a screen door bar, took all of 10 minutes. It helps tremendously with closing the screen door with the built in stepwell. Also installed some led's and on off switch in center console so I can see my coffee cup at night.
