The big question is, why octagon? Wouldn't square do? Round? Half square?

I like it. I have had it for about 6 years now. Had 90k on it when I got it and only has 106k on it now. It's primary use before the fiver was to tow our race car trailer. It handles the fiver fine and under on the axles, but slightly over on the GVWR. I'm casually looking for a dually, and will eventually get more serious. I will keep the 2500 when I do find one though. I'm not much on trading or selling good vehicles. My wife says it is a personality disorder (lol), but I hang on to them.

Still have my 91 Chevy that spends most of its time sitting in the garage. Our daily drivers have 167k and 230k miles.... So we tend to keep em a while!

Well done.

Thanks! That factored into our timing and decision to buy a new one (also the fact that we don't race as much anymore so didn't need the DP). We hope to hang on to the Sandpiper for a long time, and keeping it indoors will help with that.

I put fittings and a hose on my coleman road trip so I can use it off the low pressure line on my windjammer. Too windy to test if for leaks, will do that today.

Coleman Mach digital thermostat supposed to be here today, so I'll replace the analog thermostat in the Windjammer with it. I had the heat on in there the other day and wife says "I need to get a thermometer to hang on the wall so we know what the temperature is in here". I said Put your screws away, I have a better solution.

1. Blue Streak Chemical Dispenser installed. (DW really likes the new smell verses the old one.)
2. Also installed a Winegard Trav'ler. I needed help lifting it up to the roof ( did not want to damage the trailer or my back). System is very quiet. We are going to give it a good workout this weekend!

I need one for Dual Purpose everyday driver and towing a smaller 5er.

I did the thing with tow vehicle and commuter car but so done with that, insurance and maintenance on 2 vehicles drives me nuts. I have the Ford EcoBoost but I think it will never deliver on return when I get over 100K the way a diesel will. I think all 3 diesel e's are just as good for my needs just we will see which has the best price point which is the major concern to me as they all perform well and all have their fair share of issues.

Installed wiring for Pathway x2. Works perfectly. Takes approximately 10 min total to have Dish up and running.

So, any reason the door needs 2? I have to be honest- it opens and closes really easily with just 1...

What did you do to your camper today?

Oh, and opened our bunkhouse slide to find this rip in the floor and a screw under the edge of the slide (that doesn't match a single cotton picking screw anywhere):

Dang. You think a little contact cement will hold it? After you find the cause of course.

I was thinking some super glue and just pressing t down.

The screw was loose, just laying under the edge of the slide. I just don't know where it came from initially.

Just to keep from possibly warping the door.
