I installed some back up lights to help illuminate things when backing into a site at night. Got some driving lights from Wally world for $20. Those things work well and are quite bright.

50's today so I installed the Maxair II vevt covers that I have been waiting for a break in the weather to do. Also mounted the rear view camera, pulled wire from camera to the hitch area. Rear view camera is hard wired with a plugin to the trucks stock monitor.

ordered some stuff off Amazon for it. Many items in all, but got a few different LED bulbs to try to see what I want to order more of.

Went out to check the interior temperature; 63 degrees.

DH went out last weekend and installed the oxygenic shower head.

Ordered a few vinyl wall quotes, installed one the other day and decided where I'll put the "good coffee is a pleasure, good friends are a treasure" with a steaming coffee cup icon beneath that quote.

Wanted it on the back wall above side bar cabinet top, but dang it, there is that naggervatin' boarder right in the middle, so now it's going on the plain wall above the stove.

I saw a video the other day of a family of full timers (home schooling to boot) and the lady caught her DH gone for a weekend and totally re painted the entire motor home walls. She used great colors; a true green in the bunk room, a pretty blue in the bathroom and a great burgundy color in the living area. Made it look more like a S&B home.

Sometimes I detest those accent borders that FR puts on the walls of RVs. I've mentioned before that I ignore their accent colors and use a dark red for my color pop. I've ordered a burgundy colored vinyl wall "scroll" for above the window in the bedroom.

Down the road I may suggest that we repaint all the walls in our 5er, then stand back and watch as DH's eyes bug out.

Oh, yeah, I forgot, I also put those floor protecting foot stickers on our recliners, as they have to be slid out, turned sideways and slid back before we bring the sliders in for transport. I was concerned that over time all the sliding back and forth would leave marks on the flooring. Did that about 30 mins. ago.

It's so sad to have a brand spankin' new 5er out there with weather so nasty you can't even do a shake-down. Weather was above freezing this weekend, but headed back down into the 20's at night this week.

We've had a lot of rain since buyin' 'er, so I go out and check every few days for any wet spots on the ceiling, around the skylight in the bathroom, etc. So far so good!

I'm officially fed up to the gills with old man winter this year.

OC when you retire your 5er it should be put in a RV modifications museum.

I can imagine an all-out bidding *war* when you put that puppy up for sale some day.

Took off the cover, loaded her up and ready to hit the road tomorrow. Also, I installed some plexiglass on the screen door so the dog won't tear up the screen.

I put the new sticker on the plate and the bigger one on the back window after checking the tub of Damp-Rid.

While doing that my feet sank into the ground about 2 inch's, I gotta diet before the ground swallows me....

Doing the load up right now to bug out tomorrow. Get to plan for next two upgrades- mount grill off of rear bumper & run weatherproof conduit under trailer with wire for two power outlets where my daughters bunk is. *sigh-roughing it*
